Applications to the Greenwich Free School for students progressing from Year 6 to 7 are made through the Local Authority Common Application process. This simply means that you should list the Greenwich Free School as one of your preferences on your local authority form. If you are a resident of another borough, the same applies: just list the Greenwich Free School on your local authority form.

There is no supplementary form to fill out for the Greenwich Free School, and pupils do not need to sit any entrance exams or tests.

Once confirmed, dates for our Open Events for those pupils seeking to join us in September 2020 will be published on the RBG website and on our homepage.

Ark Greenwich Free School Admissions Consultation 2020/21

Ark Greenwich Free School has proposed changes to admissions arrangements from September 2020, public consultation on the draft policy has now closed. Ark Schools, the admissions authority for Ark Greenwich Free School, will consider all feedback received throughout the consultation period and have determined the final 2020/21 admissions arrangements which can be found via: Ark Greenwich Free School Admission Policy 2020-21 v2.pdf

 

Ark Network Appeals Timetable

Appeals for children refused a place at a preferred school for admission to Year 7 in September 2019 will be heard in line with the School Admissions Appeals Code (2012).

Offer Date     

1 March 2019

 

Deadline for lodging an appeal     

29 March 2019

 

On-time appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for submitting appeals. Appeals submitted after this date will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being submitted, whichever is the later date.

Parents/carers will be notified of their appeal date by an external agency engaged by the Ark network.
