Y10 GCSE Information Evening
Parents of students in Year 10 are warnly invited to the GCSE information evening. This is an annual event for all Year 10 parents where we take the opportunity to ensure you and your son/daughter is as fully equipped as possible for the two years to come. Coming to the Year 10 GCSE information evening will give you information relating to a number of key areas within the GCSE curriculum in order to allow you to track the progress of and support your son/daughter throughout the build up to and the examination period. An information booklet will be handed out at the end of the evening which will be full of useful information relating to: the structure of the new 1-9 GCSE examinations, the content of each course, what your son/daughter will be studying throughout Year 10 and a list of useful revision resources. The evening will consist of a number of key people speaking and delivering information relating to the role they will be playing in helping your son/daughter prepare for the GCSE examinations and life afterwards.

The event will be starting at 18:00 and finishing promptly at 19:00 with a short amount of time to speak with staff following on from the presentation. There is an expectation that all parents/students attend the event, students are to attend wearing full school uniform.
