Curriculum
The curriculum at AGFS is unashamedly academic. Our belief is that all our scholars have the right to a traditional and academically rigorous curriculum so that they have access to the maximum number of options in their future.
Outstanding Extra Curricular Programme
Life at our School is so much more than just lessons. At AGFS, we aim to provide an outstanding extra-curricular programme to complement our rigorous academic curriculum. After an incredibly successful 2022-2023, we are looking to raise the bar again with our 2023-2024 programme to give our scholars an even bigger range of culturally enriching opportunities outside of the traditional curriculum.
State-of-the-art digital resources
Every classroom is equiped with the latest range of high-quality digital resources, enhancing the learning experience of every pupil. Our digital strategy is world leading, providing our scholars the means to complete their Independent Learning using the latest online platforms.
Performing Arts
Our performing arts department has state of the art facilities for music, drama, photography and art and design. We hold several concerts a year, including west-end productions such as Sister Act, High School Musical and The Lion King. The magic our scholars create on these evenings is contagious! Look out for tickets.
Highly trained, passionate staff
A teacher affects a scholar's achievement more than any other factor. Our teachers are creative, enthusiastic, patient and dedicated to each and every student. All teachers are personally contactable and hold regular keep in touch sessions with parents each term.
Excellent pastoral support
AGFS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of its scholars. Each scholar’s welfare is of prime importance. The pastoral team are integural to upholding this. They deliver a rewards programme paramount to encouraging our scholars to perform expectionally well across the board.
Secondary Applications
Ark Greenwich Free School is a non-selective school for local children. We have 120 Year 7 places available each year in four forms of entry.
